Chocolate chip cookies recipe by Pastry Chef Jean Lachenal

Jean Lachenal, Pastry Chef of Royal Mansour Marrakech, unveils the recipe for his milk chocolate chip cookies! Treat yourself and make these delicious cookies, to be savored for your afternoon treats!


For 30 pieces of cookies, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 175 g fresh butter
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 2 g liquid vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 270 g flour
  • 2 g baking soda
  • 4 g fine salt
  • 250 g JIVARA chocolate chips


In the vat of a mixer, whisk the egg, sugar and vanilla. Mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Then add the butter previously cutted into pieces. Then add the chocolate chips and mix gently. Shape the cookie dough into small balls and flatten them with the palm of your hand. Reserve 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Preheat your oven to 170°C. Place your cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Once they are golden brown, take them out of the oven. Leave to cool for about 10 minutes and crunch in this delicious golden cookie! Enjoy a moment of indulgence!
