The Alajmo brothers in culinary residency at Le Jardin at Royal Mansour Marrakech

During the festive season, Le Jardin at Royal Mansour Marrakech welcomes a new culinary residency designed by the Alajmo brothers, prominent figures of contemporary Italian gastronomy. From December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the restaurant transforms into a cosmopolitan dining destination, inspired by the spirit of the Silk Road and enriched with influences from Asia, South America, Africa and the Mediterranean.

A free interpretation of world flavours

True to their Venetian heritage and their passion for cultural exchange, the Alajmo brothers reinterpret at Le Jardin the creative dialogue initiated at Sesamo, their signature address at Royal Mansour Marrakech. Here, they offer a cuisine that is open to the world — delicate and expressive, where textures, spices and techniques come together naturally.
The menu created for this residency reflects a spirit of travel: a focaccia in pala baked in the traditional beldi oven and topped with a tomato carpaccio scented with yuzu, a sea bass ceviche served with guacamole and mango sorbet, or cold soy noodles paired with caviar and black trumpet mushrooms. Italian classics dear to the Alajmo family also feature, such as mezzi paccheri with wild prawns and a gratinated risotto, while more unexpected creations — beef tataki, or calamari skewers with coconut milk and lime — introduce a bold counterpoint.

With this menu, we wanted to bring to Le Jardin a cuisine that is curious, free-spirited and adventurous – a journey of flavors that celebrates the connection between East and West and the beauty of cross-cultural influences,” explains Raffaele Alajmo. “For us, cuisine is a way to unite cultures. This pop-up gives us the freedom to play, explore and reinterpret ingredients from around the world, while staying true to the lightness and essence of our cooking,” adds Massimiliano Alajmo.

Le Jardin: a vibrant setting for a singular collaboration

Nestled within the lush gardens of Royal Mansour Marrakech, Le Jardin is renowned for its lively character and its culinary identity shaped by Mediterranean and Asian inspirations. This residency follows in the footsteps of previous collaborations that animate the restaurant, including the spring appearance of Chef Rafaël Rego.

Under the direction of Chef Riccardo Barni, who heads Sesamo, the palace’s Italian restaurant, this initiative finds a subtle balance between Italian culinary identity and international exploration, echoing the spirit of creativity that defines Royal Mansour Marrakech.

A festive experience to discover in Marrakech

This ephemeral pop-up invites guests to enjoy a cuisine without borders, conceived to accompany
the festive atmosphere of Marrakech at the end of the year. A new residency will be revealed next spring, continuing Royal Mansour Marrakech’s commitment to celebrating culinary encounters and gastronomic excellence.
