At the end of this year, the Royal Mansour Marrakech is enriching its restaurant offering with the inauguration of SESAMO, a new concept of Italian catering signed by the ALAJMO brothers, which can be found at Caffè Stern in Paris but more particularly in Italy where Massimiliano, the chef of the eponymous group and his brother Raffaele, has three restaurants in Venice and four in their native region of Padua.

From breakfast to dinner: it’s always time to have fun!

On the SESAMO plates, classics from the Massimiliano cuisine such as fried langoustine with lettuce sauce, Piedmontese “Battuta” with white truffle and Crispy Saffron risotto with “Gremolata” eel and its “Ghiacciolo” with beetroot. Preparations specially created for the new restaurant will complete the menu such as spaghetti with garlic, oil, red pepper with vegetables from the garden, or the signature dessert “Open Sesame, Apriti Sesamo”, consisting of a sphere of nougat at sesame and almonds topped with saffron, neroli mousse and almonds, and citrus fruit passion sauce.

Respect and sublimate local products without betraying Italian cuisine, offering a simple, gourmet, familiar and family cuisine, this is the credo of Chef Massimiliano for the development of the map of SESAMO. To do this, a field work will be carried out with the Domaines Agricoles for the production of an olive oil with fruity notes, cheeses essential for Italian cooking, but also the local production of varieties of Italian tomatoes and other vegetables that are the fundamentals of Mediterranean cuisine with the participation of an agricultural engineer, specially mandated by the group.

Sesamo: first association of the ALAJMO brothers with a hotel establishment

To date, the ALAJMO group has 5 stars in the Michelin guide, with one star for the restaurant “La Montecchia” in Padua and another at the restaurant “Quadri” in Venice. For Les ALAJMO, it is a first association with a hotel establishment. Indeed, the founding brothers fell under the spell of Royal Mansour Marrakech, “Luxury in simplicity and simplicity” as defined Raffaele, the eldest sibling and master of the premises of the House ALAJMO.

For this end of the year, it is the Italian cuisine that will be highlighted, with SESAMO, a strong symbolic name for the ALAJMO group because it refers to the family of restaurateurs from father to son, AMO being the name of one of their restaurants in Venice, three letters that are found in their Italian surname.A new door that opens at the Royal Mansour Marrakech from 20 December 2019, with a single password …. The other charm of the Sesamo restaurant …

The indoor teams, the chefs and their brigades are accomplices of the many highlights and stagings that punctuate your taste experiences according to the hours, days and seasons.
